hi if you have magickeys 2 or magic switch 3 please tell me if you leave the tools in your ps2 after you done playing ack up games cuz i heard from somewhere that the ps2 can detect something pushing on the sensors for a long time. Please reply.

o wow so the ps2 lockdown won't happen on ur slim ps2 if u had magickeys 2 but would happen if u did the homemade modification with tape and paper? I really need to know cause last thing i need is another ps2. Thanks.

all I can tell you is that my switches have been pushed for 18 months on my v-12 without a problem I cant say about the v-13 or v-14 version but it sounds to me like the "PS2 lockdown" you talk about is just another stupid rumour started by someone I cant see sony adding a mod like that as some people only have one game and play it all the time leaving it in the case and not opening the lid

it might b true cause i have used the swap tool and action replay to swap my back up games that i own on the big ps2. It worked for like a week and now it plays nothing. No movie games music no nothing....

In the case of the fat ps2 its even more unlikely as I've known people who have used it for years with no problem and the release switch that is moved by slide tool is not held in the on postion once the game is started I think you will find that your old ps2 died for some unrelated reason

no i think it died cause it that cuz after i switched the game didnt load so i tried it again n it still didnt work so i put in the original 1 n it still didnt work.

well my ps2 version is 70001 can u tell me wat v is that?
Also u said something about ur tools stuck in ur ps2 for 18 months without moving them? So that means that ps2 thinks that the lid is closed for 18 months and you've never ran into a lockdown?

its a V-13 and yes my magic key set has been installed in my v-12 for 18 months and it hasnt missed a beet
