sony's playstation 3 all though looks cool think of this before you pre order

1 the console will cost you 500.00 because of the hd dvd drive or more

2. there will not be a striped down version you eathier pay all or forget it

3.everytime you game needs to update it will cost you to update and if you don't you don't play online no more free updates sorry

4.think about forking out 9.99 a update for your console

5.and if that isn't bad enough think about heat the console will fry

Have you even seen the other alterntaives. The only better one is the Nintendo Revolution. The XBox 360 is quite reasonably priced but have you seen all the extra features and accessories. It's ridiculous. Forking over like $40 to get another faceplate. Like close to $100 for a hard drive if you got the Core system. And by saying hd dvd drive it shows how little you know about Sony. It's a Bluray drive. But let me put this simply. People estimate that each PS3 will cost $800 for Sony to make while the XBox 360 will cost Microsoft like $500 to make. Microsoft is losing like $150 per console but Sony will be losing like $300 per console if they sell at $500 but many people think they're considering selling at $400. Note that all this is rough estimation. Now tell me which one is a better deal.

can someone please explain to me why people fight over this? PLEASE. they are F*$%($&% game consoles. Do the people trying to get you to go one way or the other profit of it? NO! so why even waste your time...there are people that like Xbox and prob baught the 360 and like that too, and there are people that have had a ps2 and will most likely wait and get the ps3. WHO CARES. 99% of this thread is xbox LOSERS, trying to make themselves feel better about buying the 360 by posting a bunch of crap they don't even know facts about. And as soon as PS3 comes out, all of the PS3 LOSERS will try and win over the xbox people. IT IS SO REDICULOUS. Personally, im waiting, and getting a ps3, I might ALSO get a 360. i've played an xbox and a 360 and they are great, but Ill always be a sony fan. Do i come on here and say "oh don't get the xbox, it sucks, ps3 is gonna be way better" No. I think there should be a rule, people who baught or plan on buying the 360, are not allowed in the ps3 forum. Of course this wouldn't happen and even if it did, there are such DORKS they would lie JUST to get in here and talk bad about the ps3 as if they are going to change something. It's 3 am, im a lil drunk and i've shared my rant, and what did it solve, nothing, tommarow someone will post, Sony lied, they suck and on the xbox forum, hahah the 360 has had one good game, blah blah. Great guys. Anyone that has talked "crap" about either console seriously needs to get a life and im not kidding.

I recently read that the PS3 launch price would be $399 US dollars, which is what the Xbox premium sells for.

But the 360 will also drop in price when the PS3 is released, so it will definately be more expensive either way.

And of course the Rev could be $200 US, possibly as low as $150, but I don't really think that it will be a direct competitor with the 360/PS3. Who knows. Depends on if it will be as fun as Nintendo says it will be.

ps3 will be more than $400 for sure and it might not come with a hd. but when it comes to something so awesome price i no factor, i might even sell my x360 if i dont have the money.
