I got a new game today and didn't have enough space on my memory cards for it, so I transfered some pes5 replays from memory card 1 on to my max drive, i thought I may as well delete some stuff from my older memory card too while i was at it so I put it in the slot and what should have been a full card came up as having no data in the ps2 browser. I plugged my newer card back in and saw that the pes5 saves and res evil 4 saves were still there, so I thought that the old card is just past its best. Thinking i had enough space now to save the new game, i turned it on, played for a while and then tried to save but kept getting "error while saving" messages.

I turned the ps2 off and went back to the browser and looked at my newer mem card, it was now reading "no data" like the older one, so I went to pes5 to load a game from that and it too showed no saves. What's gone wrong? I think it's the ps2 that's having the problem and probably the saves are still on the card, it just can't read them. Is there any way of fixing this?

Both memory cards are official 8mb sony ones

did you try looking at your memory cards from the AR memory manager? your memory cards most likely have both been corrupted. I've had this happen to me with AR max, the only option I think you have now is to format the memory cards which you can do through AR.

NTSC DNAS threads.
