What are you trying to remove, specifically? If it's episodes on a multi episode disc, I would recommend using DVD shrink.

DVD shrink should work for that then. You'd just need to know which chappters are which, and what size (in minutes or bytes) they are.

I am still fairly new to this, but as far as I know there isn't a very simple way. I guess the main question is: what kind of disc is this? Is it a store bought music DVD, or one you created on your own; already on a DVD-R?

I would suppose (and somebody correct me if I'm wrong) the main reason to use special software to rip DVD's is to remove the copy protection and compress the store bought DVD's.

If it is a store bought DVD complete with video's I can't see it being too long (most aren't.) And if it's one you made yourself you can just use Windows explorer to "rip" the songs and then Nero or Roxio after to re-burn it.

this is a store brought DVD which has around three hours of songs .

I tried using dvd shrink where i selected re author and did the work .. The menus formed as seperate chapters and also the sound quality got reduced ...

is this the way it works ..
