I was wondering if it is possible to somehow view video/movie clips on PS2. Is there some way to convert avi or mpeg files to a PS2 readable file? Is this possible using CDR (I don't have a DVDR yet). Say, you made a movie with your vacation photos on oyur computer, but you want to show it on a TV without plugging it into your computer. Can you make some transferrable media that the PS2 would recognise?

Hmmm well is your PS2 chipped? If so then you can boot an application called SMS which is a homebrew media player for the PS2 that played DivX.

Nah, I don't have any such thing. Just a regular PS2 I normally use to play NCAA football on.

Well sorry then I dont think you can do much.

oohh wait I take that back.... you would use the exploit and boot SMS that way but you would of course need some way of getting the exploit on the memory card. Dont ask me how to do it cuz I think the exploit is a cheeze way of doing thing but you can look here
