When i try to load grand theft auto it loads about halfway and the psp freezes! i have a version 2.6 with no homebrew on it if that helps

IF you have a 2.6 firmware psp then you can only run GTA using the UMD it wont run using the backup iso.

Only 1.5 firmware psps can run backup isos.

i have the real game but when it loads it only loads halfway and then it stops loading and it freezes

Are you on firmware 2.0?

Go to system settings - system information
it will tell you your system software if its not 2.0.

easiest way to get it to work is to update to 2.0


If it is already 2.0 or higher then id return it asap.
