Can't Change Bit Rate in TMPGEnc

I downloaded the TMPGEnc trial version. My dvd player must have the bitrate at 32-320 kbps, but the bitrate in the encoder is set at 1150 kbps and won't let me change it. The settings page is all greyed out (wont allow any changes) except for "Motion Search Precision". Could this be because its the trial version? If not what can i do. Any help will be appreciated.

Try clicking on the actual word 'bitrate'. The lock/unlock should pop-up.
