Slimline PS2 & USB Fan - Overheating

I want to get a usb fan in order to cool my overheating slim ps2. Quick question, where is the best place to aim the fan? The vent at the front or the back??????????

vents at the front would be your best bet, also stand the PSTwo upright if you have not already, this gives less surface area that is touching other stuff so it heats up slightly less.
You don't need a USB fan, just get a small house fan and sit it in front of the PS2.

Thanks for the reply. I would have thought that more surface area is better, spreads the heat out and away from the ps2? But i will stand it up and give it a go (although the slim looks silly upright :) )
