I've read alot of reviews about DVD X Copy, has anyone heard of DVD Decoder v3.1.3? It's suppose to be better. I can't find anything on the web about it.

thanks

I just got the dvdxcopy last night and burnt 2 dvd's no problems. I bought Sony DVD+R dvd's and they both play on my dvd player, all special features work... its great.. It is very simple to use. I have never used the dvd decrypter but I couldn't imagine it being any easier then this.

dsenart - Do you have a seperate DVD-ROM drive from your DVD-R drive? The reason I ask this, is because I finish ripping one CD, and then it asks me if I want to burn. I say yes and I go to the drop down box and I cant find my DVR-105 dvd-r drive! Why is this? Is it because my system thinks that the original DVD movie is still in the drive? I think that I need to get a DVD-ROM drive, so that I have one drive for reading the DVD, and one drive for writing to a DVD-R. Is this necessary?

herbsman,

Can I ask why you think DVD X Copy isn't good? Also, what do you use to back up your DVD's and is the quality comparable to DVD X Copy's? (I don't know much about the software but I read that it's the only one certified by 321 Studio to make PERFECT copies).
