sorry for such a minor post its my first and i am stuck, i have a dvd rip, i try to burn to a dvd but the file is bigger than the media, nero asks me to shirk, ok no problem, but when i burn than try it in my dvd player voice and lip movement dont match up, any direction would really help me , thanks

What's the movie, is it a factory DVD, what did you rip it with and what Nero app did you use to shrink and burn with? Is the voice synchronized properly in the source you're using?

oh mama , it king kong from a torrent, i used Nero ultra, the "make dvd movie" option, i added the file, the rest man i dont know i guess i am really lost, i did burn an image to my hard drive it works in Nero show. sorry i am new to this, it was ripped from dvd factory movie

Sounds like the torrent may be the problem. Try playing the files before you burn and see if they're not out of synch then. You can try the ConvertXtoDVD trial from VSO for the conversion. It leaves a logo on the video output, but you'll at least see if it's the software or your files.

That's why I never wanted a movie via a torrent. It always seemed to produce errors (a friend of mine was obsessed with it). Since you're trying to do King Kong, just wait 3 hours and 46 minutes (local time) and it'll be officially released. You can play with it then.

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
