Any CD/DVD cleaner will do. Remember to wipe from the center to the outside and not radially. Personally, I use one of those manual discwashers on the rare occasion that a disc accumulates finger prints or smudges. I am usually very careful about how I handle and store my discs, so, I don't have to do much cleaning... A 50/50 mix of water and alcohol will work as well...

hrtbeat2- Well I use an old Scotch Brand- CD disc Cleaning system . It's a radial type cleaner . For Cleaning solution I use 91% isopropyl Alcohol ! The Radial cleaner works well & the Alcohol cleans the disc good with out any apparent harm ! Will probbaly start looking for a new Radial cleaner though as I have just about worn this one out through use ! & that's how I do it Ciao!
Since optical discs are optical grade polycarbonate--the same plastic used in eye glasses--eye glass cleaner is an excellent and inexpensive choice. Saugmon's advice is perfect.
