I was reading your other post about links in people's sigs.
I was under the impression, ok let me rephrase that, i was told that someone from Teammodders had spoken to one of the Admins here and was given the OK to put the link that i have in my sig.
Is this not correct?
As for the other person, who i would have to assume is talking about me because i am about the only person who post all the time who has the mentioned link in my sig, i am not a moderator here. I am a moderator at Teammodders & Xtreme-Source. Sorry is the sig misled you.

well let me be clear here, i saw that you or hursty or someone spoke to an admin about it, but i do not know that for a fact. but since you are here alot and help out, i dont have a problem with it, but it aint my site. might want to check with Ketola just to be sure. we dont want other sites hating us or thinking we are unfair.

I just had a look at Teammodders and found it is a large site with plenty of help forums and tutorials - I have no problem with it. The mod services there are NOT prominently displayed. These twerps I'm banning are advertising straight up mod service sites that at best may have a small forum if at all.
This is what I got when I googled norcalmods,

They think they can get a free ride here by advertising mod services in our forums. AD gets by on advertising dollars and I have a real frickin problem with those who come here to get a free ride without supporting our site. Then they claim they shouldn't get in trouble because they help out here. Cry me a river - we all help out here FOR FREE no strings attatched.
I'm cleaning house and will not tolerate any sort of lip or attitude for enforcing our rules. Yesterday I had someone from norcalmods bitching and giving me a hard time - he's gone (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1815430). When I ask that something be done it needs to be done and done immediately. If the user has a problem with it then he can contact the Admins with his concerns after he does what I've asked him to. If the Admins agree with him then fine, I got no problem with that but arguing with me will get a person banned real quick. My 'three strikes' days are over.

still does not seem right to play favorites and let team moders be the only 1 that can advertise for free . if they were paying it is another story , if i copy and past a bunch of dvd tut's on my jewelry site it would be ok for me to link here for free ? nothing against stimey but i have seen plenty of posts by him that do nothing but try and push biz to team moders ..

I'm not bitching, just bringing to the forums attention injustices that happen here .... well not even injustices... more so bias towards TM. Also your reason for allowing them to continue is "because they have a forum" yeah its THEIR forum LOL!!! My point still stand AD is having its balls held by TM

i was not bitching at you , only stating my opinion . if you cant take it and are only going to snap at any1 and threaten to ban them just because they happen to post in the same thread as you maybe you should give up your mod status .
but there definitely seems to be something shady going on with this site and team moders so ill be sure to spread the word else where that neither of you should be trusted ..
and stiemy , who gives a crap that you are a mod on some other shady site ? weirdo ....
also , the first thing you see on team moders site is there mod service's so IT IS prominently displayed . dont lie Nephilim , just tell the truth about the relation between you and them . even if its just about $ ..

guess what, our site, our rules. The deal made between TM and the admins is none of your damn business. Dont like it, you know where the door is. The rules of this site will be enforced no matter if you like it or not. So you're going to spread the word that we cant be trusted?? go right ahead young man, i'm sure someone will take the word of some little pissant mod site over one of the largest and most well respected forums in the world, let us know how that turns out.

So it true then ... AD does have a back door deal with TM and thats why they can have an ad in their sigs. You said something about "well respected" thats funning now knowing the truth the few that realize what is going on may think otherwise. Not a big deal hopefully the true sceners will levitate to the real ps2 scene which can be found at

no, there is no back door deal at all. what part of this do you not understand? The admins apparently made a deal with them or someone from there to allow them to have the link in their sigs, thats pretty much it. maybe if you guys weren't such assholes and helped out around here instead of just bitching, they'd make a deal with you. I have no idea, the mods have nothing to do with it. We have nothing at all to do with what the admins do, but we do enforce the rules and will continue to do so.

Ok well yeah I have been helping out around here for nearly a month now have a look at the posts under the nick of spedmetal. Then I was told I needed to remove my sig ... which I did mind you. I would still like to be a part of this forum and since I saw TM with there sigs... I figured well great I can do it to. I do like this forum just wish it wasnt so unfair .... and I'm really not an asshole either.

you are more than welcome to recommend your site to people that ASK, or if someone comes in and wants an opinion on a place or whatever, you can tell them about yours, that stuff we dont mind. We understand that the majority of the modding scene's people spread the info thru word of mouth. it's when we get blatant advertisement is when it becomes a problem. I have no idea why TM is allowed to do that, maybe one of them knows the owner of aD, i have no idea. If we start seeing threads that are nothing more than obvious advertising, it will be dealt with. all we're talking about is them having it in their sigs and refering people when they ask. aside form the sig, you can do the same thing. Just dont be stupid and run around posting your site everywhere you can, cause that wont fly. be cool about it, take it for what it is and everything is fine.
edit: and it's cool you've been helping out, but a month dont go far around here, try sticking aorund for years like the other guys, then we'll talk.

My sig was a small logo and didnt really say much, and I do more helping them directing people to my site. But well I guess it doesnt matter now.

My reputation in the scene should well cover any lenght of time you might need out of me at AD.... but thats beside the point. Oh also I think I have been a member here for a year already.
