Hi

I dumped my pro evo 5 to my pc and I then extracted it using winrar. I am trying to shrink the iso so I can fit it onto my MS. I'm using the Gherudos rip kit, but I'm stuck on instruction 4, 'patch LBA' usually if I remember correctly patching a file is where you paste the new file over the old one, but since there is a folder and not a single file how would I patch it? if anybody knows another way i.e. what files to delete for pro evo 5 I would be eternally greatful.

please help, I have been desperatly trying to shrink this iso.

p.s my first post

Try using UMDripper
or UMD shrink

Just point the program to the PSP_GAME folder you extracted with WinRAR

After youve finished ripping, youll need UMDgen to put it back together

You can find all the tools i mentioned here

I have the version from the link you gave, ver 2.5 eng.

these are the instructions for the rip kit to reduce the iso to approx 600mb

Unzip the contents of the
Gherudos_Pro_Evolution_5.rar and place
my files in the same directory which you have the dir PSP_GAME
and the UMD_DATA.BIN,then press the ext/reb button
and gnie's ext/reb will appear.
Browse the 0_text.afs and press:
1)Extract LBA
2)Extract files
3)Rebuild big file
4)Patch LBA
5)Then Press the 600MB Rip button and when all unecessary files are ripped
6)Press the 600MB Iso button

it comes with a program, heres the link for the rip kit if u want to try it http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=13106
