well its a sad day i almost broke into to tears when i came downstairs to find out i have been robbed . They did a quick grab and run , i went in the shower , forgot to draw the curtains , they must have seen my psp on the desk bcoz it was charging. my neighbour saw a lad with a huddy knocking at my door she said. well im telling this now because i hae to stay up for the police. anyway i think my psp is covered under warrenty but if i get a new 1 , it will prob b firmware 2.01+ . i hope they catch the basterd as i want my psp back :(

i no , they new what they was doing. what they did was they had a guy round the front looking through the window checking to see if any1 is thier or if someone comes downs. their was footprints on the kitchen floor to. the police had a look round bak and what they discovered was that they jumped over the back fence taking the awquad way not the easy way. now my neighbour came round at quarter to nine and say a guy at my front door. she told me when she came in but i was playing on the pc and waset paying attention , she said she saw 3 guys now accross the road looking at her on her way back. so then an hour later at quarter to 10 the arsenal match finished so i went to bed and told ma mum she needed to lock the back door. she fell asleep and 4got thats when it happned. so they climb over the fence check no1s in the kitchen through the window, check from thier guy in the front no1s in and run in take my psp and adaptor and on the way out they take ma mums bag with bank cards money etc. then ma mum wakes me up at 11 and says we have been robbed . And i find to my horror my psp and adaptor 1.5 and gta inside with a 1 gig memory stick. i so sad :( . ill be able top claim on house insurence but that was a 1.5!!i bet the wankas upgrade it. ill get a 2.6 or a 2.61 :(. well they wasent that smart as my 8 games were on the shelf next to it with my other 1 gig stick.

The best thing is to get it replace, and if the new psp is a 2.01 or higher you could always sell it and buy a psp 2.0 or lower.

that REALLY sukz dude. hope you get a new one. and if u DO get one under warranty, conrats... but it wont b the same cauz it isnt THE psp u had :( . but A psp is better than NO psp.

yeah 2.6 isn't that bad, you get a internet browser easier, and you get to have options on pictures.
but as for iso's that sucks...
we will find em...i will look in the states and you guys the rest of the place. the people that find them first have the pleasure of beating the hell out of them and draging them to paul's place and let him decide thier fate.

You should of kept the psp in your room lol. Thats what I do, but other than that, Unlucky man, I know what its like to lose something of value, better they took your psp than your life.

i just didnt think :(. they arent even gonna pay up all of it so i wont get my £259.99 to so ill proberly have to buy off the internet now and that means my 4 yeare breakdown warranty i bought at argos is down the drain. anyone know good webstes that maybe have 2.0 or lesss except ebay because i really cant trust it

Ebay not all that bad bought both my psp from there. The first one i bought i picked up in person because was weary however the second one which is my V2.0>v1.5 got posted and recevied it with no probs.
Brought it from "console-giant"(ebay username), guys got a shop in Bournemouth and normally get v2.0 & v1.5 in.
Otherwise search for someone who selling close to you and pick it up.
p.s. if u decided on this option meet in public place somewhere where there loads of people & take someone with so you don't screwed & test it before handing the cash over.

No one and I mean no one leaves a PC, TV, Video, DVD player etc and just takes a PSP which won't sell much as it will be 2nd hand.

I have to agree with UK_Gamer above, it sounds like someone wants to get a free psp, one for ISO the other for the web surfing or he just plain lost it.. But just a warning, I heard that the claim for PSP theft is on the increase and insurance company are taking it very seriously. In the US alone, they have exposed 120 cases of PSP insurance fraud. Just a word of caution all

and remember he and his mum were still in the house, so yes maybe someone wouldn't just leave the p.c and t'vs etc. but what if the p.c was in his room what if his bedroom is right next door to the living room with the t.v?
it sounds like the kitchen was the first room inside the house from the back door,which just happened to be where the psp was charging?
why is everyone so suspicious,it used to be everyone was all friends with their neighbours (and some were just nosy b******) but now... oh no, an alarm goes off and evry1 locks their doors...typical.
not that im a 72 year old biddie or anything,im just saying that burgalrs cant just go into a house and steal whatevr takes their fancy without waking evry else up.
