has anyone done the firmware uograde to 16x discs yet?

any info on any firmware upgrades ? as i checked for any updates a few days ago (due to the crappy i mean unreliable electronic guide) and didn't find any updates..

- i'm just trying it out now. fingers crossed....


doh didn't work, inserted disc and the dvd recorder's display sat there stubbornly with 'UNSUPPORT' or 'UNSUPPORTED'. dunno if it's because i used a rewritable CD (doubt it). i do know that my dvd recorder is version 1.08 from the setup screen so i gess i'll just wait 'til there's a new version to download 'over the air'
