Hello... I just had a question. What else can I do with my hard drive, besides put games on it? Im using HDloader 48bit. Is there anything I can load onto that? Can I save SNES roms on it? Anything is appreciated, Im just lookin for something to do. Thanks!

if you install a means of executing .elf files then you can do just about anything with it you'd like, even run on OS off it. researching what you want to do first then learn the way to do what you want. it would take pages and pages to list how to do them all but you can: store MP3s and play them, store roms, backup the memory card, store elf programs, etc..etc..etc......

Yea you can put roms on it, but the fun part is theyll be of no use.
The snes emulator, which is slow, only checks the cd drive for roms. SO put as many as you want on the hdd, and even the emulator itself on hdd, itll still look at the hdd.
Last I knew, same applied to mame. And mame was even slower than snes.

Genesis is about the only one you can do much anything with. Itll run off the hdd, play roms off the hdd, make a partition and save states, etc. But then you realize its genesis and go right back to playing ps2 games.
Only NES emulator is a PSX1 emulator. So you cant run it with swap magic or hdloader. And I have no modchip to say whether or not its any good.

every .elf emulator i've tried out works off the HD and also loads roms of the HD with no problems and other then glitching in the sound played correctly.
