LONGGG pause problem when compiling clips?

Ive been trying the Compilation of video clips using reauther and it all works wonderful BUT!!! At the end of every clip the last frame is frozen on the screen for a few seconds before the next video clip starts??? Is this always the case when one uses a combination of multiple dvd video clips?
All works well but I hate thaose final end frames frozen for a few seconds!!! just want each final frame to finish and the next to start imediatly!
