Hello pete,I been wanting to try and make a back up copy of all my dvd for a long time but just never new how.After I readed your article I gave it a try.Well yes and no,well It down loaded everything except for about 10 min of the last chapter.I figure I mess up somewhere and you probally know what and where, how i went wrong.I used a maxwell dvd+rw 4.7gb disk.Question pete, I try this disk on my Apex dvd player and no it didn;t work but the disk I brought It will work on it.

Can you tell more about what programs you used, what movie are you trying to backup, and what is not working? If you give out a little more concrete information, someone might be able to help you( unless of course you only want to talk to "Pete" :~)!)
So the backup process went fine, but the disc is not playing? The RW discs are more for data storage. Your player might not support DVD+RW discs, maybe you burned too fast...What burner do you have? You might be able to booktype the DVD+R(RW) discs to DVD-ROM to have greater compatibility with your player.
