I keep doing exactly what the instructions say and when i run the RUMUMD after i hit X it says Starting Game...then the screen goes black and nothing happens...whats going on?!?!?

I don't know why, but for some reason, this fix seems odd to me. I got it working, but after five minutes I felt compelled to take it off... I think because it requires so many augmentations... I prefer the simple one file rip, a loader, and MPHs Launcher... this just seems odd.
