I prefer Kodak, but as long as you use a name brand like Kodak, Epson, HP and so on you should have the same results. I like to use the matte photo paper as opposed to glossy, it gives the pictures a more professional look.

I've used kodak and Epson.
Thye Kodak paper was 190 g/m2 and the Epson is 141 g/m2 (both photo quality glossy.
Picture appear just as good on each, the only difference I found, was by using a substitute ink in my Epson R200 printer.
All the photos printed with the non Epson ink have all started fading badly, so make sure you use good ink whatever paper you use.

My close friend has the Epson Stylus Photo2200 printer
and uses permanent pigment inks ( for her Giclee prints ).
I help her print and we get fantastic prints on
the ILFORD Galerie professional inkjet photo range
Smooth Pearl Paper....25 sheets in a box ( size 13" x 19" ).
This paper is instant dry for dye and pigment ink printers.

To show you the exact box.....here's the link:
http://www.ilford.com/html/us_english/prod_html/galerie/htm/prod/...

We have been extremely happy with the results ( she prints her
fine art photographs on this paper ).
