now i no everyone says it is impossible and probably is, but i jus had a thought a need to know if it would work or now.. here we go...

Couldnt some1 make a 1.5 upgrade but call it something like 2.7 so taht the psp thinks its an upgrade but it actually downgrades it... i no this myt make it unable to upgrade in the future (if you call it update 2.10 and 2.7 comes out it will say u have allready got it when you havent) but if you call it update 2.61 then wont this work??

i understand what your saying but i think there is much more involved in the programming area than that, because if that was the case then people wouldnt be saying its impossible now....

its goes further than just naming it a 2.7, there are certain codecs that would be needed for this, a simple name change wouldnt do it. novel thought tho, however it isn't that simple

was v1.5 (got stolen)new ceramic white 2.6---> downgraded to 1.5 :D

yeh the flash is the key thing in the upgrade/downgrade buisness thats the main reason why a psp could get bricked
