Any help me with this one?

WHAT is the difference between the premiere pro 2 and Premiere
pro v7?
I would think 7 is greater than 2, but on the Abobe website, there is no mention of v7

the "v7" just refers to the new "pro" version of premiere. Before the pro versions came out, there was premiere 5, premiere 6, then premiere pro 1, pro 1.5, and now pro 2.0. So the "v7" just refers to the version of premiere as accoring to the previous numbering system. premiere pro 2.0 is the current and latest version, so definately get that one. From what I hear it has many new features and is much better that versions 1.0 or 1.5

So this means that the Adobe premiere PRO 7.0 is actually PRO 1.5 ? or something like this ?
Cause there is no mention About 1.0 being the 6.5 and 1.5 being the 7th .. so basically 2.0 being PRO v8 :)

In case anyone wonders ... i have no idea what i'm talkin` about :)

Did you ever get the straight story on which is newer? pro 7 or pro 2? This is really strange that pro 2 is newer than pro 7 isnt it or is it just me?

there is no pro 7. it was called premiere 7.0 but that is the same thing as premiere pro 1.0. there is no regular premiere anymore, there is only the new pro series. the latest version of premiere is called premiere pro 2.0

Does anyone know if PRO 2.0 or any other PC DV editing software has a slow motion effect? I use iMOVIE at school and it's easy and basic but has a slow motion effect. I bought Vegas 4.0 assuming it would have a slow motion effect but doesn't
