Ok my source file is xvid avi file. The problem is that during conversion I get in my log a line that says 32 ms audio missing. Then the converter apparently moves the audio track backwards to fill the gap caused by the missing audio. This results in the audio and video being out of sync. These are files from old tapes that I made and a friend of mine converted them for me on his pc. Is there any program I can use that will just leave a blank spot in the audio for the duration of the missing audio? I get about 6 of these errors during the conversion so in the end I am about 1 or 2 seconds off. I have used both winavi and convertxtodvd. I don't know anything about how to configure these programs so it could be a configuration problem but Im not sure. I am trying to convert to a video ts folder with a menu. Could anyone help me out please?
