Here is the problem. I have four files, IO1, IO2, IO3, and IO4. Each of these files is about 2 GB. I also have a md5 file. I want to either shrink these files to be able to fit them on a DVD-5 or break them up cleanly so that there are two separate dvds. Shrink does not recognize the files and nero recode does not recognize the files. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome. They look like Image files. In Shrink go to File> Open Disc Image and click on the .mds file. It should then analyze the files if this is an image file. You Typed MD5 but I think you mean MDS

Thanks for the reply. THey are actually video files. Yeah, I meant .mds. I will try that and let you know.

Glad it worked. If you are using XP then you might consider going over to NTFS from Fat32 as then you would not have all of the different image files

I am actually using XP and it is an NTFS system. Although I did recently change my home system to NTFS thanks to some great info I got from AD. For some reason when these file came out of Win Rar they came out as 4 files plus an mds file. Not really sure why. Thanks again for your help. I would have been more than a little frustrated if I was not able to shrink that file.

Just remember do not mention anything about D/L'd movies unless they are your home movies which I know these were
