DVD Creating, do you mean you want to backup a dvd or edit a video and literally create a dvd from it?

i have heard about Sonic My DVD, Sony DVD Architect 3.0, and Power Producer, Do you recommend any of these.

To be Frank, I'm a Pinnacle Studio user myself. I don't recommend anymore, because it's one of those softwares which either works for you or doesn't. In my case it works like a charm, but there are plenty of users out there who will beg to differ. It's a very unstable software. I've heard Sony Vegas to be "the best", most stable and very user friendly. I'm sorry, as far as the others you mention, I am not familiar.
