Mounting an iso on psp

okay so ive tried loads of things to get an iso to work. thing is...everywhere i go it tells me to downgrade to version 1.5 which i have done...and apparently u can get gta to work aswell in 1.5 but i cant (i have the UMD). Im tryin to play an iso of daxter but i think it blatently requires higher than firmware version 2 to play.
all i ask is if someone could please give me a simple straight answer on how to get daxter to run as an iso. ive been told it works in 2.5?
someone help me please...or direct me to a thread that makes sense...i cant find anything that tells you about Fastloader MPH Edition. apparently that works nice...
any help would be appreciated...

hey! i can see that this is a good thread you have given me and i appreciate it. but it turns out im a complete newb and was wondering if you could link me to a similar thread about dumping?

To get a modified 2.5 dump, do the following:
Make a dump of a 2.5 firmware using mph's firmware luncher or fakeupdater.
rename flash0/kd/resource/meimg.img to flash0/kd/resource/me_sdimg.img

What are you trying to dump? the firmware or the umd?
If its the umd then that site joeva sent you is right.
The instructions you pasted are for firmware dumping eg flash0 flash 1 folders.

I saw the words "mount iso" so does that mean you can play bacups of psp games on the psp?!!
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

yeah basically i want to be able to play games off my memory card.
i have an iso of daxter but cant get it to work
basically wat i think is i need my psp to think its 2.5 firmware when really i only have 2.0 (i will downgrade to 1.5 if necesary)
::UPDATE::
okay so i managed to get the dump and now i can run the GTA:LCS UMD but im still having a problem running the ISO.
i have 2.0 and 2.5 dumps

HI
Jus a few q's how do i know the file i downloaded is an iso file? and when i download the games on utorrent and open them , there in lots of seperate files do i collect them all in one folder or transfer all of them to the iso folder on my ms? when i think ive put an iso on my ms and go on to fastloader nothing happens, fastloader works but doesnt show the iso i downloaded only the UMD in my psp, also if i don't have a umd in my psp and i go on fastloader it tells me to insert one , any ideas? REPLY A.S.A.P THX

Dude, i've asked you nicely to search your questions before asking. Realize that other ppl wouldnt be so nice about it.
Congrats on getting utorrent tho. its one of the better torrenting progs.
You files are compressed archived in those files.
They probably look something like this
joeb doesnt search.001
joeb doesnt search.002
joeb doesnt search.003
you just take any of the files(except the html files), and open with winrar. you should see an iso, extract it, then put it in your iso folder.
iF it doesn't extract then get a new copy

no its not,
piece never gives broken links.
look in the middle its going to say [premium] and [free] click on free then after like 15 secs the dl will start

thing is...wen i click on it it doesnt say premium or free...it doesnt say anything...well...if i open it in internet explorer it gives the classic internet explorer error and says the website you tried to reach could not be displayed or something and if i open it in FireFox it just shows me a blank page...

appreciate the effort but it wont let me download it for some reason. anyways it looks like your trying to give me something i already have. the ability to play GTA with 1.5 but i can already do that...my problem is gettin the iso to run from my memory stick.

hey just wanted to say that i got it all working now...thanks alot for ur help (daxters still givin me some problems tho :/ does any1 know where i can get Fastloader MPH edition?) turns out it was alot easier than i thought.
i also have a metal gear acid iso which i play from the ms with ease however wen i try to save the game crashes...im not sure if this is with all isos yet but has anybody else come across this? is there a way to be able to save?

Here is mph that is used in conjuntion with umdemulator

MGA 1 is listed as being able to save. So just a different copy of the iso
