Today i just received 1000 dvd-cd labels or 500 sheets, full face glossy for inkjet printers, for $63.40 us dollars + shipping to Miami by usps, total $77.89 (very chip)from a company that sells on ebay.com call labelsbynet from greensville ohio, well let me tell you that the quality on this labels it is very poor,it does not dries fast,it takes around a minute to dry so do not try to touch the label after it comes out of the printer, besides the reds comes out with little white dots, they say that it wont work with ink that it is water base, well i have a R300 epson wich it is a very good quality printer ND GOOD INK, well my brother had some labels from Neato and when i made comparisions it was huge(also glossy) the colors were brighter and it was dry when it came out of the printer,in spanish there is a saying that goes "LO BARATO CUESTA CARO" meaning "chip things are expensive" if you go to neato.com and buy 300 pk glossy and full face it will cost you $119.99 us dollars, expensier but you will have quality, also there is this place call meritline.com in this place they sell you 150 sheets(300 labels)glossy but not full face for $105.75 but you will get a good quality cd-dvd labels,so it is up to you when buying dvd-cd labels, also if you want to try this labels from ebay.com you can buy 200 labels for around $20 us dollars+shiping by usps, just for a try but do not blame me if you see the colors fade

almoarr- One dude don't use Paper labels on DVD media trust me when I say it will comeback to haunt you ! The DVD will quickly become unplayable , The labels will Bubble over time and unless you get them centered exactly right the dvd's can become unbalanced and cause more problems ! I don't understand Amigo ? Why not just use INkjet printable Blank DVD media in your R300 ? after all you cando it ! You'd have Great looking disc -no labels to buy and then you have none of the label problems mentioned earlier ! Or if you don't want to do that there's always the Trusty old SHARPIE marker ! But being you already have The R300 why not try the inkjet media ? Yes it's more expensive than Non- Printable media but I still think in the long run you'll come out with better looking /quality disc ! and less headaches ! I;m not fussing at you just trying to be helpful ! also They'd probably be cheaper than buying labels and media !Oh well Vaya Con Dios ! Lil' Buccaroo ! Good luck!

BIGTOXT69 is right..........

I think it's even cheaper if you just buy inkjet printable media.

Better for the long run also. Stay Away from adhesive labels.

I also have the Epson R300, great results in printable media

(printable media needs 10 - 24 hrs. to dry ), but results are worth the wait.

Also the ink for this printer is cheap.

When I was a little burner, about 3 1/2 years ago, I used labels. Probably put them on 200 or so discs. Biggest mistake of my burning life, needless to say. Almoarr, get rid of those labels NOW. If you want cover art buy an Epson R220 on sale for $69 and buy TY or Verb inkjet printables at the usual suspects. I'm sorry you're going to have to go through this...I didn't realize anybody used labels anymore.

I am still trying to remove stickies from my early burns.Fade, glow, blink,or whistle makes no difference DO NOT APPLY to DVD`s. They are a sure way of collecting future toasters.
Every one of my early burns that I have revisited has had problems until I remove the stickie..Even if they were to give them away I would still bypass the mothers.

Wolves
Try backing up those w/ labels to ones that don't????

To say printables.

Or are they just beyond, not playable anymore ?

I've been successful reripping some of my labelled ones, though it often takes three different dvd drives before I can rip all the files without a problem. For those which can be neither played nor ripped, well, there's always reripping from the original.

The problem can always be overcome. It is a problem that would not have arisen were it not for stickies.
