i've downloaded ARMAX from http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=5M62SGGE, then i uncompressed the .rar archive, i used alcohol 120's image finder, furthermore i used the image burning wizard and selected PlayStation2 as data type. it's recommended to burn the image at low speed. it's NOT the EVO one, but it works as well.
i've swap magic 3.6 to boot the cd.
at firs i had the same problem as pstrchild several times: "unknown error" when it gets to the writing portion; but after using the HP USB formatter (ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp27001-27500/SP27213.exe) suggested previously with the corresponding indication mentioned i got my "pen drive" (AIRIS 1GB mp3 player usb2.0) working.
i hope it may help you Ok, I tried this and I think everything is going good.......until I swap it into my PS2. My problem is that the screen flickers like a very old tv does. I used Nero instead of blind write because the "write" button on Blindwrite5 was grayed out.
I have been having trouble with my Sharkport lately, and every time I download gamesaves from a website; it ends up being corrupt. Dont know why because this was the first time I ran into a problem.
Any ideas??? Or is there other devices/programs that will work better.
When you say flicker do you mean that the screen rolls up very fast?
If so this is usually caused by a disc that is not for your region. Like if you have a PAL PS2, and you got an NTSC version of AR Max
Try this just for kicks, when you load Swap Magic, change the video mode on the main screen from normal to NTSC or PAL, which ever is different from the PS2 you have.
Thanks for the help, turns out all I had to do was turn the SwapMagic to NTSC and it worked fine. However both my PS2 and AR Max are NTSC. So I didnt think that I needed to do this.

I have a NTSC version that I backed up beacuse my original is getting to be useless (i tend to break things when i get mad lol).
What I got from the quoted thread was the Alcohol 120%, swapmagic, and how to use AR Max info.
I wouldnt know if spain has certain versions, but again, thanks for the tip about my swapmagic. It was a simple step that I should of tried, but it was 4:00am and I just bailed on it.
