i already know that there is no hope to save my beloved psp from sonys hated 2.6 I feel like the whole homebrew community has condemned me. with no hope in the firmware dumps, i am now willing to open my psp and undamn my psp. however,i would like to know what materials will be required.

the only thing you could do by opening up your psp to "undamn" it is to replace the system board with a version 1.5. There are a lot of places to purchase 1.5's on the net but I'd just sell it on ebay and buy one of ebay that's 1.5. I don't know where you are but I do know that gamestop stores have many used psp's for sale that are 2.0 firmware.
