Need more information..They don't play in what..your standalone player, your computer, etc.? What speed are you burning at and what speed are the discs? Are you saying that some work fine and others don't or that none will play or what?

Hi,

Need more info about your pc specs: current version of firmware of your drive, how much RAM, burning software you have used/installed (DVD Shrink requires either Nero or Dvd Decrypter/ImgBurn to burn the movie), processor speed, etc...

I would suggest to uninstall the program you got from CloneDVD.net, as they are using the same name (and most likely stolen) as the genuine CloneDVD prog made by elby.ch and/or slysoft.com ....

To see what current version your firmware is, download Nero Info Tool here: http://www.cdspeed2000.com/files/NeroInfoTool_403.zip ...This will also help us determine what your drive is capable of reading/writing...

Also, here is a guide to help you get started on some terms: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/183136

When you have gathered the info, let us know and someone could help you out...

Hey, some of the burned dvds work just fine, but others don't. In any player, computer, standalone etc.
My firmware is the latest one, the DL 13, I have burned in 12x and 8x and nothing happens with those movies that doesn't work. I don't know what could be happening, if it is the CloneDVD... or else... I also use AnyDVD of course, ok, thanks!!! Hope you find out what is it and thanks for all your help...

You're going to want to slow down your burn speed. Burn at 4x for an 8x DVDR.

Computer: Intel Pentium D 3.0 Ghz dual core CPU, Philips DVD+-RW DVD8701, 1024MB RAM, ATI Radeon 256MB, Nero 6
Always use good quality blank media. Verbatim is always a good call. Don't be seduced by those 50-spindles you find in the $2.99 bin at your local car wash! :)
