Need help unlocking my Motorola V3

Hi Everybody!

A friend recently gave me her V3 when she bought a new Treo. My old V600 isn't working so I really need to get this Cingular V3 unlocked. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there Berry,

You won't be able to get your phone unlocked by posting in this forum, unless someone working for your network reads it and is amazingly kind.

The best way to do it is to visit an unlocking store like http://www.phoneblitz.com. You can get a RAZR unlock from http://www.phoneblitz.com/phones/RAZRV3.htm.

Alternatively you could phone up Cingular and ask them how much they charge.

Google searching will also through up some free unlock methods. I wouldn't use it personally as they can damage your phones firmware.

Thank you Sam! My friend, who gave me the phone called Cingular and went to the store where she bought the V3. The store clerk said he didn't know how to unlock it and the customer service rep said he didn't know how to either. I can't afford to purchase unlocking services, I'm on disabiity. I appreciate your help!
