the default on dvd decrypter is set on max. i recently purchased verbatim dvd+r dls that are 2.4x. do i change the write speed from max to 2.4x? what does max mean anyway?

I think max speed would be 2.4

Your media is rated @ 2.4, so max speed means, the max speed of your media.

Max will burn the discs at the max they will support - some media can be overburned above rated speed. If you don't want this then change decrypter to the speed you want to burn at.

i dont know if you want to do anything more than 2.4x on those just yet.. especially when on sale the damn discs are $2 each.
