Was killing an hour with the wonderful wifey when I stumbled across a collection of 50 packs and 25 packs of the 1-8X Sony MIJs. They weren't too badly priced, 7.99 for the 25 and 15.99 for the 50, so If your BEst Buy is out, head over there to pick up some.

The same outfit over my way is called Odd Lots. Same chain,just different name.. They usually have panasonic=panasuck= that are made in china.Sometimes RCA,I think also made in china.Way too much even if they were taiyo yudens, LOL

I have gotten some nice cd wallets there,and tons of jewel cases and those original size dvd cases.They were out of all that stuff 2 weeks ago-I think I may have bought them all up.

I'll check them out tomorrow and see if they got anything new.

The good news for us is that most of their patrons don't read this forum so they will go for the JVC, HP and other off the wall stuff which was made in China, India and Taiwan. I would have gotten some but still have some from Best Buy earlier this week.

Have noticed Dvd media @ big lots here & mostly JVC - Made In malaysia ? also Some HP media - They had Maxell 52X CDR media 100ct. spindles for 10.00 ea. If was'nt already flush with CDR's would have gotten some maybe ? And I would have to agree with saugmon / YODA ! on that one they (Big LOTS /ODDlots ) stores seem to be awfully proud of their dvd Media Whatever brand it happens to be at the time ! Too Rich for my taste ! Closest one is about 30 miles from me & on the same street as a Superwally World & an OfficeDepot & a super Target store ! So I really don't need to shop media there ! They do as saugmon said have good prices on CD/DVD Binders-wal;lets & Some computer accessories ! You kinda have to know what the regular price is to know if you're getting a deal Or if you're getting taken ! but you can find bargains there if you look ! I look all over but mainly Shop media from ( BESTBUY - CIRCUITCITY - OfficeDepot -or wally World ! I would have included COMPUSA but we had a run in over returning a deffective HDD so I don't shop them anymore ! If not one of these stores _ I do the Usual online retailers - Supermediastore.com or Meritline.com & occasionally newegg .com But not for Taiyop Yudens as I've heard that they've been selling the fake ones ! Basically shop 'em where you gets the best deals right gang ! Good Luck & happy Shopping !
