I just got my PSP v1.5 and I am just waiting on my 1GIG SanDisk Duo to come so that I can begin the homebrew experience. However, what should I use to run them? I see in other threads people suggest MPH for newer 2.0 required games and then either Fastloader and UMD which are both written by Humma. Which one should I use, Fastloader? UMD Emulator? or just all three? Any suggestions?
Some games work for one or the other, which kinda sucks, so if you want to get the "full" experience, get both (as well as a handful of other emulators to run other games).
Personally though, I don't trust any other emulators besides the two you mentioned; I don't like Fastloader that much, so I stick with UMD Emu... It all depends on the games you want to play, here's a decent site that's updated regularily, determine which games you want, and then choose the best emulator
jljr,
You will need all three emulators for an good homebrew/back-up experience.
Fastloader, and umdemulator as you have noticed is the same game, with umdemulator being the more updated one. However there are a few games that fastloader can play and umdemulator cant. Mph is a loader that must be used in conjunction with umdemulator to get certain games to work. These three emulators are really the standard in playing back-up games. There are other but these three stand as being able to play almost all working back-ups.
Most games do save except for a few. A small price to play if you ask me.
