Why is my DVD Shrink 3 taking forever to Encode anything? Usually always took about 30 to 40 minutes maybe. Now taking up to 2 hours or even more sometimes?

Welcome. Is the burner in DMA mode? Did you check the AEC quality settings in Shrink as that can add more time. If the burner is in PIO mode the in Device Manager right click the burner and click uninstall. The re-boot and let Windows re-install properly. If it continues to go int PIO then you probable need to get a registry cleaner and clean the registry of any conflicts

The aforementioned problem sounds exactly like the problem I had when I first discovered the website. The remedy was correct.

what program are you using to encode?
Have you made any changes to your pc recently that you notice that may cause your pc to behave like this?
Have you got spyware or a virus that you dont know about?
Can you ues a restore point and take your pc back to a time when it was working properly
What are your pc stats
