How to backup 1 DL DVD movie to 2 DVD-R's

Instead of shrinking the movie to 1 dvd-r, how do you split the movie and put it onto two DVD-r's? Can both the DVD-r's contain the menus and the chapter feature? What software is used to accomplish the split? Anyone have experience with this procedure? Thanks

If you want the menus and extras, you can use CloneDVD2 or VobBlanker to split a DVD-9. .
