Hi, I was wondering if I could use cogswap or ps2loader to load a burned copy of swapmagic or a burned cd that will let you play backups? Is there anything that works like that? either that, or I need a good tutorial for making a fliptop case.

thanks for any help!

You can't you cog swap cause thats burn't alreaddy, the only way you can boot a back up of swap magic is to have a mod chip or swap magic (original) which is pointless unless your booting a higher copy (if you have 2.0 or lesser than 3.6).

And for a torurial on how to make a fliptop, use google, I found loads of guides before.

You can use Cogswap to load backups, you will need a fliptop or slide card. You can make a slidecard out of thin plastic. You can not just use the eject button because the PS2 reads the disc each time the eject button is used.

If you load Cogswap on your memory card, and use the boot exp to boot to Cogswap, you still have to use the slidecard or fliptop to change discs.

Cogswap takes a memory card and a PS1 game to load and an additional PS2 game to play PS2 backups.

I do not see a need for swapmagic with the use of Cogswap. Cogswap does about the same job swapmagic does.
