I used to play my PS@ online through a router. I moved and had dial up for a while but now i have high speed. I tried to connect my PS2 sraight into the cable modem but the ps2 said it got no signal. Do i have to have a router or is my ps2 screwed up?

If you have router, take the RJ -45 cable and connect them through the ps2 slimline/bulky ethernet switch which is located at the back (note - if you have the big one, you need ot buy a internet adaptor) and connect the other end to one of the ports of the router, and it should get signal. If you are using dial up and your in uk, you can not play online, you need to get broadband because of what PS2 said for uk.
