i noticed a loud hum coming from the unit today..i thought it was coming from the TV. but it is the xbox making the sound when a game is inserted..what could it be?...is it about to take a crap?
ohh please dont scare him like that. mine has been doing the same thing for a looong time and its doing better than most. if you bought it used then it is probably the disk drive ut you can replace those cheap.
Actually its a combination of both.If the Xbox HD is reading alot of data it hums like that and if the DVD drive is humming its because the speed that its spinning at so dont be scared.Its natural.
my dvd drive clicks rly loud when you put a game in it but it only does it for like 10 sec i think its cuz it the first version of a xbox wel i kno its the 1st version
