Ok 2 questions once i have used DVD Decryptor then put through DVD2One

Q1. I have my vob files do i need to copy audio_ts or will the vobs contain the audio?

Q2. I was unaware that you are not supposed to use the wizard until today but is this causing nero to come up with the following errors before i write:

"DVD-Video files compliance test failed. The resulting DVD-Video might be unplayable. Do you want to continue?"

"There has been a possible read error during the operation, which may result in a defective write. Do you wish to continue the write anyway?"

They burn the vobs ok and they even open if you explore the disk but it will not direct boot or open when putting in the dvd player in the pc or my home tv dvd player.

Please help!!!

o and i have a dru500ax

Do you have all of your files in the new folder? The ones you draged from the file browser. You should have something like this.

VIDEO_TS (bup file)
VIDEO_TS.IFO (ifo file)
VTS_01_0 (bup file)
VTS_01_0.IFO (IFO file)

VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB (VOB files)
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB

Do you have all of these?

OK, some answers.

No you do not bother with the AUDIO_TS, the audio will be in the vob files. If you are just ripping the movie to create (author) a new DVD, then you need the .ifo file with the same suffix as the vobs. If you are doing the whole disc, then you need to check everything when you rip (there is a select all function in the DVD Decrypter menu)

The wizard does not always give good results. What I do is go File/new compilation, then on the window, select DVD, then the DVD-VIDEO icon. Just drag and drop your authored files into the VIDEO_TS folder (forget AUDIO_TS) and burn.

The best way to burn with nero however is to select DVD-ROM (UDF) to burn and create your own VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders. This will make your movies more compatible with older dvd players.
