When I softmodded my xbox it worked fine for 3 days or so. Then when I tried to load Fable it gave me an Xbox Needs Service screen. I checked if it ran media and it didn't. Then today i decided to take apart my xbox and it all went well. I took out the dvd tray and the hard drive. When I took off the hard drive I bumped the heatsink. I picked it up and it wasn't even attached. Could that have been the reason that my didn't run games? Was the processor too hot?
Well the xbox that i was having trouble with is in pieces. I have the motherboard and everyhing on that along with the hard drive dvd tray and the power thing. My friend has everything else. I wasn't really interested in getting it to work again i was just curious about what was wrong with it. Thanks for your help though.
