i have just installed a hd 120 maxtor in my ps2.the ps2 is modded but i don't know which one its approx 8 years old. i use a ar2 disk to boot my backup copies but wanted to put my games on the hd so i didn't have to do the disk swapping thing.
But i can't get it to boot. i have installed 3 games onto the hard drive via winhip. 1 original and 2 backups.none load. i do the following.
1) load ar2 disk one
2) press loaed game without codes
3) Insert hdloader.
4) highlight game
5) press play game.
just a blank screen
Do i need to do something else i.e exploit. Can someone plaese point me in the right direction. I need a start to finsh guide.

trying changing the modes of the games you are playing. It all depends on the games you are trying to play.

Press select when a game is highlighted and try changing to a certain mode. If you have the updated version of HDLoader try the feature taht i belive says: Turn HDLoader off after game load. that seems to work with most games.
