Forgive me if there is something on this already because I've searched and not found anything. Here's the deal. I have a Fujitsu laptop that's a few years old. I purchased pinnacle studio plus 700-usb. The software crashed my laptop and I had to restore to factory. I think that issue is the graphics card. The real issue is that when I try to capture using Nero Version 6 or Windows Moviemaker I get the same problem. The video is good but there is no audio. (This hardware device is also known as a Pinnacle MovieBox.)
So then I tried the same thing on my Sony Viao desktop which has all the media bells and whistles and the same thing happened! No audio.
I have captured on the media computer before using a ClicktoDVD and the internal card and never had this problem. Any ideas? Cables have all been switched around so it's not the rca audio cables.
