Heading should read DVD... sorry.

I have looked through this forum and others on the net and have seen this problem mentioned before, but without any advised solutions. Apologies if I have missed the correct solution in this forum.

Relatively new kit with internal DVD player as standard. Some minutes into any DVD film, commercial or otherwise, and with any DVD playing software, the picture just freezes but the sound continues. It may have done this from day one but I've only just obtained some DVD films. Incidently, DVD software appears to load okay.

Typically, it is just past it's warranty period!

Any ideas would be most welcome._
