How do I change my Background Colour for my PSP 1.5?

I had a 2.0 and downgraded to 1.50, but I don't like the colour red (it doesn't suit with the white psp) How do I change the colour, cause I can't find in the settings

Two ways.
1: use a homebrew program such as FlashMod, this messes with your flash, so as usual don't blame anyone if something happens to go wrong (though unlikly)

2:Change the date settings, different months have different colours...i personally don't like my screen being pink during april ¬_¬

Dude the best thing is to use is PSPSET, that way you can have any wallpaper of your choice on any giving month. And it doesnt have to be a stock psp wallpaper either.. Here like mine

Get any background you want and resize it down to 300x170 and make sure its 149/150kb, it also has to be a bmp(24). Stick your background into the root of your memory stick and rename it to 04 (april) then run psp set and go to change wallpaper select april 04 and quit the program, voila your new background...
