Txs for the heads up.

AnyDVD alsp posted another update after the one you have - it's now 5.9.5.3.
From their site:
Quote:
5.9.5.3, 2006 04 04
- Fix: Bug introduced in 5.9.5.2, on some DVDs title sets could
be accidently deleted (AnyDVD mistook them as decoys from the newest
SONY ArccoS protections)

Good stuff as always. I love this type of thread. It tells me what to expect. Thanks!

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

There is a new release of DVDFab Platinum v2.9.7.6

New: If there is a reading error when copying (like disc is scratched), user can choose Ignore, Ignore All, Retry, or Abort. (DVDFab Express)
Fix: "Enable DMA" window will be shown when DMA is already enabled, in certain cases.

New: Improved "Sony ARccOS protection" detection and removal engine.
New: Added removal of fake VTS and PGC automatically.

@jenzbby
Here are two options to do this movie and the others you are having problems w/
Run AnyDVD in the background with Shrink - not free but has a 21 day trial. Also the easiest. Do ot run AnyDVD and DVD43 at the same time.
Rip the file using DVDFab Decrypter then open those files in Shrink and proceed as usual.
Besides the thread the Creaky list's - here are some other Fun w/ Dick & Jane threads for help:

Download AnyDVD and clonedvd2 they come with a 21 day trial www.slysoft.com they are the easiest to use for someone just starting out. There are free ways to do it but you will have to surf the messages and the guides because everyone here has there own ways and if we all start spittin information at ya it would only confuse ya more....I seen you mentioned DVD43 and shrink, 2 very good programs that are free and they will get you a long way but you'll get stuck at dick and jane for sure (dvd43 Can't handle it) AnyDVD is a program that runs in the background by your clock just as DVD43 does but it is updated VERY often! and it will do dick and jane for ya. Hope this helps ya out
