I know this has been gone over a million times. But i am at whits end. Ive had my xbox soft modded for about 3 months. I like to play a few games but my son lives on the xbox. About a week ago it said there was a problem with the current skin. i went on past that and everything was cool. Now i reset during a game last night and it popped up error 13. I never thought to ftp a backup into my pc. Now its error 16 and thats it. Im sure i can hotswap my disk no problem but i dont have an eeprom or anything else to put on it. I have access to other xbox hard drives all locked of course. And one of them with the same softmod setup as mine? Is there anything i can do to get this thing running again?

yes.
I hope you did not unlock the hdd.
Backup the working well softmod xbox to PC. E drive to E folder, C drive to C folder.
Then do this hotswap. When you are able to use xplorer360 to view xbox hdd, delete everything on partition 3 and 4. Then copy everything in the C folder on PC to partition 3, copy everything in E folder on PC to partition 4. Then continue with the procedure to put the hdd back to xbox.

yes . Ftp the whole C drive to C folder on PC. Then ftp the whole E drive to E folder on PC.

ok back again. now i am ftp'd into the other xbox but dont know how to copy the partitions i need? Is there a special program i need to use?

lol if i didnt shave my head id pull my hair out. I got the images from the working drive and now i cant get the swap to work to write to my hd. Every time i try to run fatxplorer it says error and asks if the hd is still locked. further help needed if your still offering. thanks

you dont need your xbox eeprom .... visit this website i guarrnteed you then you will have a full workin xbox in no time

i 100% recommend that you even join this site... but this hotswap will fix it all! you dont need your eeprom....

trust me u'll fix it in no time.... remeber no eeprom require! ...
( i know eeprom is a must for an xbox to run on a softmod but thousnds of xbox owerns that mess up on a softmod do this and NEVER fails .... props to PIRRUP for making this tut ...

they respond quick extreamly quickly... ( i mess up my xbox even worser then you did ... error 21 can be anyting ) and i fixed it thx to them ... that was nearly 2 yrs ago .... and i didnt even need to hotswap... so image if you would go to them?
