With a mod chip you dont need boot disks,
Boot disks (swap magic) are for those without a mod installed.
With a mod-chip your backups SHOULD direct-boot just like if
an original was inserted instead.
Also cheap media doesnt work well the ps2.
Also complete sentences with periods help us to read
and understand your problem.
Here is what we need to know, (In proper english please).
What mod do have installed?
What media did you burn too?
What program did you use for burning?

Was the modchip soldered in? or is it a plug and play type deal?
Because the swap magic disks cant be copied they have to
be the original.
If your chip needs the Swap magic disks to boot then you will need
to get the original swapmagic disks,
As they cant be copied.
So you will need some original swap magic disks.

PS2 games are actually pressed DVD/CD discs, they are not burned. PS2 games use the Burst Cutting Area (BCA) of the disc to identify themselves to the PS2 unit. The BCA is not part of a disc that you can burn on, it is only replicated on pressed discs.
So, the only way to play backups is to get ORIGINAL boot-discs
(swap magic disks) or a mod-chip.
As said earlier swap magic disks CANNOT be copied.

This may not be too much related, but if you use a swap magic 3.6 disc can't you use it to load an older version of swap magic that has been burned, or the latest 3.8 coder version if someone downloaded it? i'm just wondering if its possible.

What would be the point of that? If the game wouldn't work on a new version of Swap Magic, then it most likely won't work on an older version. You'd be wasting a cd/dvd and your time.
