I agree with norcalmo, the best way by far is with a good chip that has HDD capabilities like a DMS4 Pro SE
They have a lot of things in their flash (ToxicOS) that are geared specifically for people who have a hard drive.
You will have a much easier time, have better game compatibility, and an all around better experience with a chip than with Swap Magic.
Do the research and decide for yourself.

there is a hard drive compatibility chart if you need one.

You do not need a slider card or slip tool. IF!!!! you get a simple $10 plug and play chip that allows you to quickly press and hold the eject button. The chip then ejects the drive but the plug and play chip tricks the PS2 logic to thinking the door is still closed. It's a very cheap and nice. Plus I just done feel to fond of forcing my tray open. But do note installing this chip will void your warranty as you have to open the case. Their might be a usb plug in version of it out now I have not checked. Plus also note that when you have the programming of the chip open the door it opens +2x times faster then normal and you have about 4 secs to switch your swap discs. **Hint** Sadly I just found out after 4 years that if you hit the eject button and tray opens and you get distracted and don't get the disc swapped you can just press the button and repeat the process.

"And so it begins..."

DVDSwapMagic 2.0, CDSwapMagic 3.0, MCExploit
