how to i burn a avi file to play on my dvd i got a a05 bunner help me someone or convert to dvd file so i can burn it

i download a movie it is a avi file how do i make it a dvd file so i can burn it

That is very complicated, you will need to convert the file into mpeg 2, then author a DVD with vob files etc, then burn it. Perhaps there is a simpler solution, just let me know what you actually want, ie store the movie to play on PC< or use it on standalne etc. What do you need, then we decide the best way to get you there :-)

Why not make a VCD, quality will be fine, as you will be re-encoding from an encoded source anyway, so DVD is a bit pointless and VCDs work in almost every DVD player. Media is cheap too. Use TMPGEnc to encode into MPEG1 and use Nero to burn.
